Baby Amarah Brielle was born last April 13, 2017 to a 24-year old mother who has no known illness throughout her pregnancy. Her mother gave birth to Baby Amarah a month early thus making her premature. She is currently under observation at Perpetual Succour Hospital in Cebu City, Philippines. She has been diagnosed with a hole in her heart or PDA/ASD and neonatal sepsis, an infection in the bloodstream that attacks her body's organs and tissues.
Baby Amarah is currently fundraising for a heart surgery. After the surgery there are risks of infection that may occur but hopefully all is well. We are hoping to raise enough to not only cover costs of the surgery but also procedures like ECG scans, laboratory tests and Pediatrician appointments.
The family are working hard to be able to pay their ongoing bill but sadly their insurance doesn't cover enough and health care system abroad is vastly different to the health care in the Philippines. So at a time where they should only be worrying about their daughter, Baby Amarah's parents are having to worry about how they can cover costs. Thank you!
