Help a med student get a holiday

hi!
i am currently a 4th year medical student in Durban, South Africa working my butt off to be the first person in my famaily to get a university degree.
my group of friends are planning a canoeing trip to namibia and i would love to be able to go, unfortunately, im horribly middle class with a single mom who tries her hardest to give me everything i want.
if you could just help me with a little bit of your time (and a little of your money) i would be so happy!
