Help A Marine Follow His Dream

Hi, this fund raiser is to help my son get a car, he is a U.S. Marine and is currently serving in Afghanistan on his 2nd deployment. As much as he loves being a Marine he decided to end his military career and pursue a career in the automotive indrustry. I am very proud of my son for serving his country and would like to do something very special for him. Jay, as he likes to be called, will be home by Christmas and starting college in January to pursue his degree in automotive engineering and he needs a car to get to and from school. Unfortunately I was diognosed with cancer a few years back and haven't been able to work. I live on disability and do not have the financial means to help him at this time. Jay is a good young man who deserves this, he has always helped others (including me) and has never asked for anything in return. I know there's a lot of people out there who really need help and I wish I had the money myself. But with my situation with all my medical bills and a daughter who is in her second year at the University of New Hampshire, that I could really use your help to make this possible. Even though Jay has saved some money, he needs that for living expenses. He even has a part time job lined up to help him out. Even with all that there's little or no money for a car to get him to those classes and job. I know this could really help him so he would be able to get a reliable car to use.

I also want to show him that becoming a Marine and serving in a war zone to fight for our freedoms and the freedom of others that we care and thank him for his service. I hope you find this cause worthy and will be able to give.
