Help our Little Angel Yonne Amara HEAR

First off, we hope all is well with you and your family given this time of pandemic. We want to thank everyone for taking time and look at our “gofundme” page. We welcome all donations, anything to help our little angel.

To give a backgrounder, Our daughter, Yvonne Amara, was born with a Unilateral Cleft Lip (attended already), failed her Newborn Hearing Screening and after numerous tests she was eventually diagnosed with a severe to profound hearing loss on both ears. She would need Cochlear Implants to be able to hear and to avoid having complications on her speech. Her attending ENT mentioned that the procedure is best done before she reaches 2 years old to avoid speech delays, but we are already past her 2^nd birthday. Because of COVID – 19, we are unable to do so much. We have approached different gov’t. and private institutions but only one aided so far as they are focus on assisting everyone affected by the pandemic.

The procedure is estimated to be almost at Three Million Pesos (P3,000,000.00).Inclusive of internal & external gadgets and hospitalization. Payment is outright prior to the operation. It is difficult for us to put up said amount amongst ourselves, considering the timing and having to attend to all pre & post medical needs of our daughter – therapy & check-ups. To date, we were able to raise half of the requirement amount already.

We are knocking at your door to ask for financial assistance for Yvonne Amara’s cochlear implants. Attending to her hearing need will be of great help in avoiding speech delays and it aid in addressing also other working diagnosis - Global Development Delay and Rule Out Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As parents, we would do everything to have our kids live a normal life and for them to hear us say we love them and to hear them say “I love you”. We hope and look forward to your kind help for our daughter.
