Help a kid to regain his hearing

Yu is a 17 year old boy who suffers from branchio-oto-renal syndrome. He was born with bilateral deafness and with cleft lip and palate. Due to developmental delay he has been studying in a special school. His mental age is only around 10 years old.

Yu had cochlear implants inserted at the age of 3. Since then, he relies on the machine for hearing. Without the device he will be completely shut down from the world.

Unfortunately the machine broke down 2 years ago and his family cannot afford to buy a new one, which costs HKD80k.

We would hope that by kind donations, we can reach the target of 80k to help this kid regain his hearing. He has already been shut down the from the world for 2 years. Please help!

三歲時，余接受了人工耳蝸植入手術，大大改善了他的聽力障礙，聲音第一次觸動了這個小小的心靈，讓他與外界有了接觸。只可惜，於兩年前機器退化，須換新機；奈何，余的一家屬低收入家庭，並未能支付港幣8萬元的昂貴機器。過去兩年，余再次失去聽覺，回到了那個無聲孤寂的世界活在沒有聲音的世界，斷絕了跟週邊事物的連繫。

兩年漫長的等待，他是多麼希望能再次聽到媽媽喊他的名字，再次聽到來自這個社會的聲音!
