Help a HongKong security guard who is dying of breastcancer and her family

At this time of year we count our blessings and enjoy festivities with friends and family. It is also a time to help those in need. This holiday period we are trying to do just that. We have been trying to helping a woman who has spent her whole life working as a security guard in Hong Kong, sending all the money she could make back home to her family in China. She noticed a lump in her breast but because she was worried that she would lose her job if she took leave, she delayed seeking medical help until her cancer had spread all through her body including her brain. Unfortunately by this time it was too late for treatment to be effective. Her mother, a single mom, is here on a visitors visa. As her daughter lays with only days left to live in a public hospital, she is trying to find a way to bring her daughter’s body home to the village. She has no idea how she will survive as she loses the sole breadwinner of her family.

Not interested in publicity and seeking to preserve her daughters dignity she isn’t going to the press with her story. A few folks are trying to help them, while being careful to respect their wishes for privacy.

I can assure you this is a genuine case, the charity in which I am a volunteer is helping her in hospital.
