Help A Hong Kong Father fight against second cancer: Urgent surgery is needed for eye tumor

Your help and share can give a hope to a 66-year-old Hong Kong Father carrying-on his life and battle with the cancers!

A 66-year-old Hong Kong Father, Chung Ping has been diagnosed of prostate cancer and brain cancer (glioblastoma) consecutively right after his employer shut down the company and he was forced to leave and become unemployed. At the beginning, he thought it might be a right time to live peacefully in his retiring life. However, no one expects his worst nightmares in life comes and the ruthless tortures has just started. His family has used up all resources for his major surgery of his brain to remove the malignant tumor. It took him a very big courage to go under the knife as the surgery is very risky which could make him a paraplegic. Right now the operation has completed but following by medical treatments on the side effects such as very frequent and unexpected epilepsy.

Meanwhile and unfortunately, his prostate cancer has already spread to different parts of his body swiftly, to the shoulder blade, neck and skull. Now a big cancerous tumor has grown above his left eye compressing the eyeball (swollen with bleeding symptom) which needs a very urgent surgery to save his sight and life. However, in the hopeless condition, his family has already ran out of the resources and the budget for the surgery and the following-up treatments of electrotherapy and chemotherapy is too huge.

I am a friend of Chung Ping. He is such a kind senior, great passion for life and helping the young generation. Unfortunately I could not do much to help alone, so I help to create this page to ask for any help possible from anyone with the kind souls out there, to help raise some much needed funds during this difficult situation. I will help putting together an estimate on the medical expenses to come, along with treatments, scans and further tests during his impending recovery, which we strongly believe he will get through, as he will beat this cancer.
