Help a guy afford text books so he can become a history teacher

I'm a guy from Lemoore currently attending west hills community college, I have been out of a job due to a unfortunate circumstance and am barely scraping by, next semesters books will stretch far beyond The limited budget I have as I was rejected from any scholarships that would help with books due to my family making over a certain amount of money even though I am not dependent on them, if anyone here would be so generous to help me continue my education so that i may eventually achieve my goal of becoming a history teacher i would very much so appreciate it, Thank you.
