Help a family keep their home

Greece has been in economic crisis since 2009. The crisis has affected each and every one of us. Extremely high unemployment rates, daily house evictions and high annual suicide rates are only few of the problems that my country is facing these days.

My family has been one of the victims of the crisis.

Since 2009 they have lost not just 10% or 20% but 70% of their income through budget cuts. Since then, two hardworking, kind, honest people have been fighting with the banks to keep the only thing they have left, their one and only home.

This fight has been going on for 10 years now.

Now my family has to raise 40.000 euros in one year just to be able to keep fighting. A sum that is too high for anyone to raise in such a short notice! After 10 years of fighting, they are now in danger of losing their home.

As their daughter, i’ve watched them suffer beyond comprehension all those years. Please help me restore even the slightest sense of justice in their life.

The 10-year-long recession has taken everything from the Greek people. Please help us at least keep our home and our dignity.
