Help a family through hard times

A few years ago I moved my family across the the country to be support for my sister who did not have any family or support. We arrived and everything was fine for a while as we set up to live here in Nevada, got our children settled and found jobs rather quickly things were good.

The deal was for us to move out and be here so my sister could look for work while we watch her children as she could not afford child care. Me and my wife (who has at the time 3 kids of our own, now 4) were both raised in family first households, so this was no problem to us simply what we do. We supported as we could with our work schedules and I even found my sister a job as I was a manager at the time in a restaurant and brought her in to work with me.

A few months later I transitioned into a better position at a new job and she was still employed at the other restaurant (which she promptly quit a few weeks after I left) and seem to be doing well. Afterwards she made a few bad choices which she lost her apartment and we ended up having to take her and my niece and nephew in, which again family first not a problem.

Later we found out she is addicted to gambling amongst other things and as such we have been carrying them for a couple of years now, and it’s put such a financial strain on us we had to file bankruptcy, which has helped but still left us with a few bills and payments that we couldn’t to take care of.

I come as a father trying to pull his family out of hard times any thing given will be greatly appreciated and blessings to any and all that find in them to help
