US$10.00Donated So Far
It was Sunday, December 2, 2018 when my father had a heart attack. We got a phone call from his best friend, asking us to go to a hospital in La Union and when we arrived there, we saw how he was being treated. The nurses couldn't tell us what his medical diagnosis was and there were no doctors to talk to. And so we decided to transfer him to a hospital in Baguio for him to be able to get the proper medical attention he needs. When he arrived in Baguio on Monday morning, we found out that when his companions said he passed out, he didn't actually pass out. He already lost his life and was just revived at the E.R. He needed to undergo angiogram to determine where the blockage was and needed to undergo angioplasty to remove the blockage as soon as possible. After the procedure, he was admitted at the ICU and 3 days after the procedure, he had complications. His body and lungs were filled with fluids as his kidneys failed to function.
His creatinine and blood sugar level were too high and so he needs to undergo dialysis every 12 hours. He is intubated as well because his breathing is labored due to all the fluids in his lungs.
On December 14, he had blood transfusion because his RBC count went down. He'd stay at the ICU and won't be discharged until his heart functions well and his blood pressure stabilizes.
We are humbly asking for your prayers and financial assistance to help cover my father’s medical expenses
