Help A Family Escape A Warzone

On April 15th 2023, Sudan turned into a warzone as two militant groups RSF and the Armed forces turned against each other in bid for control over the country.

My wife and kids were seeing their relatives in Sudan, while I worked in UAE to support them. Unfortunately, the airport has been rendered inactive ever since it got caught in an air strike. It's closure trapped many travelers inside of it as well as the rest of the population.

Throughout the two nightmarish months my family spent under gun fire, I've taken out several loans but was only able to keep them afloat. I managed to move them to a safer location away from Khartoum where the worst of the conflict took place. They only recently managed to sleep without hearing gun fire.

However, supplies are running dry as most factories and businesses have come to a stop. The cost of groceries has skyrocketed due to scarcity and people panic shopping

I barely managed to cover for their visa but ticket prices were also severally raised. The journey is four to three days long by bus from their location to the border of Egypt. It takes several stops along the way for people to take a break and restock on food. The prices there are even worse
