Help a family

I went to an eatery to eat dinner last night, While I was eating I saw a family, two adults and 
3 kids ordering a single serving of a vegetable dish, they look tired and hungry.  I 
was hungry as well so I ordered 1 meat dish and a fish dish, as the waiter serves me 
my orders. I asked the waiter what did they order, and the waiter said that only a 
single vegetable dish and 3 cups of rice. so I looked at my pocket and had an extra 
money to spare and told the waiter "here, this could give them 3 more cup of rice 
and 2 more dishes" and minded my own business, as the waiter served the family more 
food than they ordered the waiter implied its from me, and I just noded. The father 
insisted to not take the extra food that they have but I approach the old man and 
said "its ok, please eat Im sorry I do not have more" they were so thankful that 
they invited me to join their table.  Thas when I heard his story. he was 30 years 
old working as a delivery man but recently lost his job and evicted from his 
apartment. now they are wanderers sleeping on the streets ang begging for a little 
money. but what scared me is the condition of a little boy who has hernia who needs 
urgent medical condition. I ask them if they had it check in one of health centers around but they could not afford a single cent from begging. I do not earn a lot, I dont have a big salary, but I want to help this family. please if you have resources to spare please help.  They currently roam the streets in my area, I try to help from time to time but they need more than that.
