Help a Dog to Walk

10th July , 2018. It was a fine afternoon when my friend Luna came to drop Billy, a cute ball of fur with 4 legs to it's new parent. I was an 18 years old just about to start College and was fortunate enough to say that new parent was me. Luna and her family was moving to another city so she made Billy available for adoption. I took on this chance and adopted Billy, who later on became my best friend!

I started taking good care of Billy. We went for walk on the park often. We had many mini adventures in the neighborhood. He likes to watch random things on television and his favorite place in the whole house was my bed.

A year passed by , everything was going well until one day at the end of this past July he started showing symptoms of lameness And he had his front right leg bent while walking. After observing the same thing for few days and realizing he was in pain I decided to take him to an animal doctor with my heart only praying that nothing serious would happen to Billy. After the doctors diagnosed Billy they informed me that he has torn his ligament in that leg. According to the doctors he was suffering from Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) and it was developing slowly for a while. I had one of the strongest heartache of my life when I heard that.

To help him recover from this condition doctors suggested to do a Dog TPLO surgery. Basically what this surgery is that the torn ligaments will be replaced by metal plates and screws. It will allow Billy to move his knee as normal before. It will cost $2800 for Billy to be back on his feet again.

As my financial condition is right now it is not possible for me to carry out this expenses for Billy's surgery. I want to raise some money for him so I started by asking for help from my social circle. Unfortunately I did not get much help from there. I found this website while trying to check on Google how to raise a fund online.
