Campaign Story
Dad's are hardly talked about and acknowledged but I wish to do so for our dad even as I raise an appeal of support.
Our dad was doing very well, he had a good job. He was the breadwinner for us and being one of the learned members of his family, was a great support as well even to his brothers and sisters and their children. Unfortunately he was laid off his job in an undeserving manner. We had a good average home and some land. My father had taken some loans to try and help to diversify the sources of income but unfortunately with the loss of his job the business not picking up and in between supporting the family needs and the escalating bank interests and off and on court cases, we lost our home. Our father has sacrificed himself for us. He has maintained a strong face in the face of adversity. Mom passed on many years back. He remarried and we are a family of seven children each trying to gain a footing in life during these tough times. It is my desire to see this humble man settled and at peace in his 70s.
Dad does not give up! our youngest sibling has been sick on and off and he has worked hard to ensure that she keeps track on her medication and encouraging and sharing words of hope even when we were loosing hope. She is now finally over it . This financial appeal will enable us to put up a simple property for him, help this dream come true as we look to celebrate the International Happy Fathers Day this year 2021...
