Help a brilliant student focus on her success!!

Hello, my name is Kate. I’m a senior student in abu dhabi university, engineering major! and I need help with my educational expenses. I’m able to pay for my tuition thanks to the reduced amount due to the financial aid and the rest is covered by my sponsor, but I still need money for housing, books, and public transportation.

Last school year, my sponsor retired and they are unable to cover more than my tuition expenses since then, so I struggled a lot with with paying for room and board and the money I received from my retired father was not enough to cover all of it.

This caused a lot of stress for me during both semesters and I was always left wondering how I was going to be able to put together enough money to pay it before the deadline.

Before any of you suggest getting a job. I would like to inform you that being an international student in UAE make it illegal to take on a full time job, as for part-time jobs, the number of hours is very limited and the housing curfew makes it next to impossible to land a decent job without losing my roof.

The amount I put is enough to cover my expenses for the next six months, which would put my mind at ease and allow me to focus and graduate with flying colors.

I have been selected for a couple of promising job positions where I will be starting as an intern in january 2017. I am optimistic about my future because I trust that my financial issues will be resolved if I manage to graduate and land a job in one of these two firms as soon as possible.

My future goals are: once I graduate with an excellent gpa, I get a job that will allow me to continue my education by taking Master's courses during the weekend. My aim is to acquire a phd and I will not stop until I achieve it. However, obstacles are natural in life and right now I am facing the one that might lead to crumbling the very foundation to achieveing my goals and it certainly scares me to no end.
