Campaign Story
Issue: trigonocephaly forehead (protruding forehead deformity) uneven bones around skull creating non aesthetic and unnatural look
Cost:$10,800What it would mean to me: I can finally be comfortable, look I understand people make think, *he wont be comfortable, he needs to build his confidence up and learn to love himself* that kind of stuff... I can deal with being unattractive, but I am actually deformed(it IS a deformity)
I’ve always had a very large and mishaped head, I cover as much as I can by having really long hair that covers. I never had the confidence or courage to talk to anyone about it, always avoided getting my hair wet at the beach and places like that, it has been exhausting, I finally went and saw a plastic surgeon about 3 months ago and we got some brain/skull scans done (really scary) and I got to understand what i am dealing withI have a protruding forehead bone, it is a deformity known as trigonocephaly (check the profile picture) i also have some bones sticking out a little bit on each side and they are uneven, after many talks with the specialist he informed me that he could actually do something about this.
The protruding bone can be shaved down and the forehead can be kind of shaped to a more aesthetic shape(which i was wrapped about) in terms of my over all head size, not much can be done, a little shave of the bone here and there (like .3cms at most) but to get that more round and even look would just make me so happy!Of course I knew this was going to be expensive, i got a quote around 2 months ago,
So what I am asking is for any help I can get, unfortunately due to stress and mpb I am also starting to lose my hair (can it get worse?! haha) I am currently saving up for some hair surgery(probs around $8000) aswell to make my hairs resistant to DHT (which is the main cause for hairloss) and getting the skull surgery will reduce stress aswell, so the two enemys for my hair loss will be gone!!
BTW the reason im not just getting a loan is because i cant get approved one, seeing as i have been out of work for awhile and only at the new place for the past 2 weeks... the surgery needs to paid upfront
