Why am I fundraising?
I am Mahesh Rajwade. My brother's 7-month-old son Parth is fighting with chronic liver disease called Liver Cirrhosis caused due to biliary atresia. He has undergone a surgery (Kasai Procedure) at the age of 2.5 months, but unfortunately surgery did not help and was termed a failure. Parth is a young fighter with a strong will power but his liver now needs a transplant as early as possible.

About Parth
Parth was born in 8th month of pregnancy. Even being a pre-mature, he seemed to be healthy at the time of birth with 2.9 kg of weight. One month later, we observed that his eyes were yellow and were showing symptoms of jaundice. Soon he was diagnosed with rare liver condition called biliary atresia. Doctors then suggested a surgery called Kasai procedure. But unfortunately, four months after surgery doctors observed that the operation did not help, so Parth needs to undergo liver transplant.
He is at home in Dombivli and having treatment in Global Hospitals, Mumbai (Liver OPD). His UHID No. is: 105085014.
Surgery will be Held in Chennai and his Global Hospitals, Chennai UHID no. is: 1020205111
What is Biliary Atresia?
Biliary atresia, also known as extrahepatic ductopenia, progressive obliterative cholangiopathy is a childhood disease of the liver in which one or more bile ducts are abnormally narrow, blocked, or absent. It can be congenital or acquired. As a birth defect in newborn infants, it has an incidence of one in 10,000–15,000 live births in the United States, and a prevalence of one in 16,700 in the British Isles. The causes of biliary atresia are not well understood. The only effective treatments are surgeries such as the Kasai procedure and liver transplantation. (Source: Wikipedia)

I am fundraising here for Parth here as a hope to our family since doctor's intimated that the total cost and further medical precautions for Parth is around INR 32 Lakhs and might be cross over of the said amount. Our of which a have accumulated around 20 lacs from all the sources which we tried but still short of funds of INR 12-13 lacs and operations will be scheduled by this month end..
In looking forward operation succeeded flow rate in Chennai compares to Maharashtra to avoid any risk we have decided to make Parth's operation at Global Hospital,Chennai.

It's a sincere request to please look into it urgently since Doctor's has advised to do the operation within this month end in looking forward the liver failure issue of Parth.

I have mentioned my cell phone number and attaching all the supportings documents for your reference.will ready to provide all the required documents to get some help from your end, if possible.

Awaiting for your kindest support .....

Yours Faithfully,
