Hi friends,

My name is Anton Duane Nocum.

Children are regarded as special gift from the Creator. Their coming in a family; both the rich and poor, is usually greeted with happiness and in most cases with pomp and pageantry.

Like the farmer who will never get tired admiring his harvest after carefully weeding and fumigating his farm against pests and insects to allow the crops to germinate and bear fruits, the arrival of a child marks an end to nine months pregnancy stress and anxiety which the mother was subjected to, just for the safety of the baby after she would have lived her life in adherence to medical advice.

For the newly married, it marks the beginning of a new chapter in their life and for those already in marriage it is an addition to the population of the family.

It is religiously and morally expected that having brought the child into the world, that the parents will give the child the adequate training, protection and guidance which will equip them ahead of their future challenges in life.

The joy of every parents is however to watch their kids grow under them and as well, live the kind of life that they have tailored them to live.

It can however be devastating as a parent to watch helplessly, the child you have worked hard to bring into the world, slipping off your hands without having answers to the situation.

This campaign is for my 1 year-old nephew, Ash Gabriel Araneta who is diagnosed with cancer of the bladder.

Though he is the third child in the family, Gabriel is the most influential amongst his siblings. He is jovial, friendly and charming personality that even at such an age, he is widely loved by all in the family. He is everybody’s pal and playmate.

Sadly however, the joy and happiness that has been in the family has suddenly gone. Our playmate is now battling with a life threatening disease that is too much for a child of his age.

Gabgab as we fondly call him is down with cancer of the bladder. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy at Zamboanga City Medical Center, Philippines.

His Mom, Frane Morillo is a full-time mom of 3 kids, while his dad, Ace Ryan Araneta is a scout ranger; a low income earner cannot shoulder the responsibility, alone. Though other members of the family have tried to assist, but it was just a microcosm of what that is needed for the medical treatment.

For over a month, Gabgab and his mother have been in the hospital where he gets chemo shots, 5 times a month.

Recently, they were however, given clearance to go home for now, because the antibiotic sessions are already done, but must have to go back from time to time, for the chemo shots.

But unfortunately they have to pay over ₱125,000 hospital bill to go out which they don’t have at the moment.

This is a trying time for Mr. and Mrs. Araneta, their child and the entire family.

Gab, though he is too young to pass through whatever that he passing through has shown signs of his determination to win this war.

We must encourage him to fight to the last by supporting his and the family with the little or much that God has blessed us with.

He still has another 13 Chemo (radiation) sessions subsequently, which we do not how much it is going to cost.

We will need for now, a total sum of ₱249,346.44 to cover accrued medical bill so that they can come home from where they will be going from to complete the remaining 13 chemo sessions and radiation session as well.

We will appreciate your kind donation as you volunteer to help this couple save the life of their son .

The family while promising to make judicious use of the anticipated donations, will make out time to personally thank each of you that donated to ensure that Gab gets the best of treatment he so deserves.

---UPDATES---

06/24/2019 - Gabgab was already released from the hospital because we got help from the government and some officials helped as well!

06/28/2019 - Updated needed funds to ₱125,550. This is just for the remaining chemotherapy and radiation sessions.
