Singapore 7s Rugby Player Liyana Ong has been given the opportunity to train and play in Belfast, Ireland with Cooke Women’s Rugby Club who play in the top tier of the All-Ireland league.
Liyana wants to prove that an Asian female player can make it in European Club Rugby. 
She has been coaching and inspiring at Singapore Irish Rugby 🇸🇬☘️ for the last four years and plans to volunteer coach kids at clubs across Belfast outside her playing commitments, giving them insights into Singapore culture and rugby.
Liyana wants to return to Singapore at the end of the season and apply all the knowledge and experience she gains to the development of women’s and girl’s rugby in Singapore and across the region. This fundraiser allows you to support Liyana in making a real difference.
