Hello! I need support to illustrate and print my first children’s picture book! 📖

Hello!

I have just finished a draft of my first children’s picture book about a 5 year-old boy’s first week in kindergarten, and the issues he faces getting used to his new environment.

The book lightly touches upon topics such as bullying and mental health, which I hope will foster an early conversation between parent and child regarding such sensitive issues.

Currently, I need funding to proceed with getting an illustrator on board for the drawings and book layout, as well as subsequent printing and distribution.

The book will be distributed to pre schools and lower primary schools and I hope it will help to ease children to adjusting to school life, which comes with its own set of challenges.
