I know this is a lot of money but i just wanted to give my family security .

I have had to give up work to care for my wife who has a rare genetic illness which causes extensive vascular tumours . Although the tumours are benign they are situated in the most awkward and painful places making them inoperable . This is caused by a weak vascular system that causes the veins to thrombos and manifest in vascular tumours . She has them in the brain , behind the eye , spine and throughout the body . Her worst pain is caused by one on her trigeminal nerve known as the suicide nerve which is untreatable at present .She has had a couple of accessible ones operated on but they have returned. This leaves her in constant chronic pain with mobility problems (uses a wheelchair ). She is on a lot of heavy medication for this which then has its own side effects . We have now found out that both our children carry the Tye2 gene for this condition and our eldest is already suffering ongoing health problems from it .

The money would be to buy our house and extend it to make it suitable for my wife to live in and improve her quality of life as her illness is progressive . God forbid our children get any worse then our house would be suitable for them too. Our aim is for my wife to have wheelchair access downstairs and to the garden so she has some kind of independence and quality of life . We have asked for help from the authorities but all they can really offer us is to move properties away from all her support network which at the moment is the only thing that is keeping her going .
