Heaven Sent 2013 Novel

I am a Domestic Violence survivor and single mother for over 20 years. My life has been a struggle growing up in an abusive environment and ending up in an abusive relationship that lasted 9 years. My spirit was broken down but I chose not to give up for the sake of my children. As a child, I had dreams and aspirations but somehow I found myself struggling to embrace hope in a world filled with pain. Even if I had nothing more, I could never conceive of letting go the one thing that kept me going and that was my Faith in God.

I had constant struggle and losses throughout most of my life as a single mother. My children and I experienced pain, hunger, fear, and loss but I still managed to pull through. Giving up was not an option especially when my children’s happiness and well-being was at stake. Somewhere during my journey, I managed to discover who God created me to be and that afraid little girl within me, no longer existed. Though my life has yet to find a place called home, I am fighting harder than ever, not only for my dreams but also for dreams of my children and all who struggle to triumph over many battles. My discovery led me to explore the gifts that God has given me. His purpose was truly greater than my own struggles. All I had to do was to believe.

My life’s journey has always been linked to helping other people; I just never saw it as serving them. As I have grown to know myself, I have discovered that I have a huge heart that wants the best for myself and for others. That is when I decided to take a leap of faith and turn my dreams into reality. As a child, I was able to escape the reality of pain to a world of imagination. After all these years, I realized that I was not just escaping reality, I had a special gift. I closed my eyes and searched deep into my soul and then I began to write. This is when I knew that God answered my prayers. He was just waiting for me to take the first step. That is just what I did, but I know that I would need the financial support to achieve this goal. I would like to ask for your support in helping me reach my financial goal to complete my first novel titled "Heaven Sent." Heaven Sent is a novel based on fiction and incorporates romance, religion, drama, and action. Heaven Sent is the epitome of Good versus Evil that goes beyond human imagination.

My true purpose in life is to help others and if I can raise enough funds to cover the cost of completing this novel, I can then reach a success that will allow me to build an organization that will support the financial and emotional needs of children and their families nationwide.

The sense of fulfillment this gives me shows me my life's true purpose.
