Thank you for stopping by! I am a Singer/Songwriter and Recording Artist with a BIG dream to help people with my music! For a little over a decade, I have traveled the United States, singing my songs and telling my story of brokenness. I am living proof that God is willing and able to heal and restore broken people. My husband (who is my drummer and road manager)... along with myself and our 12-year-old daughter... travel thousands of miles every year to rescue missions, recovery homes and programs, churches, coffee houses, music venues, jails, prisons... and anywhere struggling people can be found. We all need to know we're not alone. We all need to know that there is someone out there who understands. I believe songs can save lives. I've been told that my songs have saved lives... unbelievable, amazing, a miracle. (See comments on the "Guestbook" page at www.heatherlayne.com). I take songwriting seriously... because there could be lives at stake. Please help me reach more hurting and broken people with the brand new songs I've written... songs that need to be heard! Johnny Mulhair recorded and produced the album that began LeAnn Rimes' career, "Blue". For this, Johnny received CMA and ACM Nominations for its recording and production. Johnny Mulhair himself was also named one of the top 10 guitarists in the U.S. by Music Row Magazine, Nashville, TN. We are honored to work with Johnny on this album. This will be our 3rd trip and 5th album recorded with him in Clovis, NM.
