Campaign Story
Aileen, 39, has been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy since 2010 alongside other illness. Over the years, her heart’s ability to function properly has deteriorated.
A recent collapse has triggered an urgent need for a device called ICD - Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator. This would allow her to heart to get an instant jumpstart should it have a problem again.
Aileen is a single mom to a 11 year old daughter. Her prayer is to live to see her child reach 18. And though will power is strong, resources are low. We are knocking on kind hearts out there, to help us raise enough funds to purchase the device, pay for the procedure of putting it in, and aftercare. Any minute we wait longer without this life-saving device and procedure poses a danger to Aileen's life. Hope you can help now.

Waiting for an ICD
Update posted by TJ Trinidad and SPCP friends at 08:07 amCurrently Aileen has been discharged and at home waiting for a device to be available at Philippine General Hospital (PGH).In as much as we want to buy the device to fast track her operation, due to the limited supply and high demand of the the device, we would have to. . . . .
