My sweet, lovable, kind, and bubbly 5-year-old son Aiden James E. Diaz has been diagnosed with congenital heart disease which is a ventricular septal defect. And it has 2 defects, one is near the valve and the other is in the muscle that divides the left and right heart. Last year was just passable since there was no heart enlargement. But now with his new 2D echo, we are already troubled because his left heart is a bit enlarged. And it would still get bigger and bigger. This is also the cause of his pneumonia, he gets cough every month and he had been admitted twice last year. The doctor said he needs to undergo an Open Heart Surgery and will cost Php 500,000 (around $10,000).

With this, we are knocking on your beautiful hearts to please help us reach the said amount so that he could already undergo with the procedure as soon as possible to avoid more complications.

I have faith and trust God through your kind hearts. My family would forever be grateful.
May God bless you.

Thank you very much.

We finally decided to go for an open heart surgery because that would be the best procedure for Aiden's case. It scares Mommy a lot and she cries everytime she imagines the whole procedure especially the cutting of the chest. But Mommy will promise to be strong and stay composed
