Campaign Story
Hello, this fundraiser is to support Torrence Tate, a 44 year old husband, and father of 2. After many tests, it was revealed that Torrence would require a heart transplant immediately.
As you can only imagine, this came as a horrifying shock to Torrence, as well as his family and friends. After being notified of this alarming news, Torrence was told that before he could have this major life saving surgery, he would first have to be placed on the heart donor list. There are over 120,000 hopeful candidates on this waiting list.
Many sleepless, and terrifying nights followed, until a heart was located for Torrence. The transplant was a success! After multiple complications following his heart surgery, Torrence will soon be going home to continue on his road to recovery.
Torrence hasn't been able to work in several months due to this serious medical condition. In addition to everything that Torrence, and his family has undergone, it was affirmed that his wife is currently awaiting a kidney transplant.
This family has had their hands full with so much. We need to do something to help alleviate any financial stress, so that Torrence, and his family can focus on healing. Your donations will be used for recovery, and medical expenses not covered by insurance, as well as living costs. Your thoughts, prayers, and generous contributions are sincerely appreciated.
