Heart Transplant

Paul Ford is a 44 year old Husband and Father who was in need of heart transplant. Paul was listed at Duke Hospital and finally received a heart July 13, 2019. Paul however experienced many complications post transplant. Most recently Paul was in 3R Severe Rejection and had to be places ecmo for 6 days. His family was 2 1/2-3 hours away and with the transplant expenses, and the unexpected extra hospital stay has put a huge financial burden on them. Paul spent 85% of 2019 in the hospital. The family will be using these funds for hospital bills, pharmacy, gas, and many other expenses that come with this.

Paul has always been the first to step up and help someone in need. Now the tables have turned and he is the one requiring assistance. This campaign is to put his mind at ease so that he can focus on the upcoming recovery. Let's come together as a community and support Paul and his family in this long journey.
