Heart operation for 2 year old Adam

Good morning/afternoon/evening wherever you might be around the world. My name is Rubin Torode and I am a single father of 3 kids, two daughters and an adopted son. My son Adam was left on my frontstep when he was only one month old with a note asking me to take care of him. Alas who would know that only after a year he would need a heart operation to save his life. He nearly didn't make it but with a little finance and some donations he had an operation in September 2013 at the tender age of 1 year and 3 months.

How it started

A couple of months back Adam started holding his head and we went to see a doctor who couldn't expalin the reason for his headaches. It started getting progressively worse by the day and the pain was starting too be to much for some-one so young. I had started to give up when we went to the hospital he was at the first time before his first operation. After some tests and more tests with results not coming up positive, I got the news that my son Adam needs another heart operation done as a mistake was made with the first heart operation he had in September 2013.

Reason why I need money

The reason for the operation this time is that one of the main tributaries of the aorta was not sewn together properly hence him getting headaches all the time as it works with his head and arms. I don't have money for this operation at all and lost almost all my belongings and properties due to my accountant not paying my taxes for more than 5 years. I have been trying to get work but it is hard to get a job in South Africa. I have told the doctor he has to wait till I get $17,000 together for the operation. I am a very private person and I really don't like to ask for assistance but I am forced too as I am desperate in getting this operation done for my son urgently so he can live a better life and I might not have to run up and down to hospitals and doctors with him.
