  • Kenya, being a developing country, has her own unique problems. The problems facing this nation include; lack of quality education for all children, poverty, inadequate healthcare and poor nutrition. Due to lack of adequate education for all children, many children at a later stage resort to crude ways of survival. Young women end up becoming commercial sex workers in big cities as Kisumu, Nairobi and Mombasa . This is because they lacked the basic skills of survival which can only be got through education as is in the modern world. It is unfortunate that these young women at times get impregnated and resort to abort their innocent infants. Others give birth but introduce their children to the street life; thus the increased number of street children in Kenyan cities and towns. These children, most of whom are of school going age should be rehabilitated and provided with education, if they are to secure a future. Poverty is seen as a major contributing factor to the individual and societal crimes in our country. Lack of education is normally attributed to these.
  • Because of inadequate education, many Kenyans can hardly meet their daily needs. This therefore exposes our potential youths to real exploitation by the few elites who only think about themselves. Both young men and women are forced to find ways of survival which, as I have earlier mentioned, are crude and unhealthy. Illiteracy is seen as the major barrier to acquiring quality life status. Others see illiteracy as a direct product of poverty. Many people end up in acts that do lead them to acquiring dangerous diseases as HIV/AIDS due to illiteracy and poverty. Having contracted such diseases and because of poverty and lack of adequate health care for all, these men and women do die at early stages of infection, leaving behind dozens of orphans with no one to care for these orphans, in most cases decide to go to the streets for their livelihood. No shelter, no food, no love, no hope for them no everything! You and I can instill something valuable into these lonely lives. Some of them end up becoming dangerous thugs later in life. Some of them die on the streets. Who cares? Some of them are normally lucky enough to get well-wishers and sponsors to help them acquire basic education for future survival. As a foundation , having seen all these unpleasant scenarios (street life), we do understand and feel what these children are going through. It is in this spirit that we felt the need to help bring up these disadvantaged innocent children. We decided that, though we have no steady income, we should try support one or two children.
  • We have come with a project which we need to start by the end of this month 2019 so that those who have finished high can have income and join us to help the other kids in the orphanage. Also kids needs food to eat, we have also arrears to pay our rented orphanage building which as gone more than $2500 we need to clear.
