Heart of Gold

Many of us know and have someone in our lives who is always there for you, unselfish, always putting loved ones first and caring for all, even those they may not know despite the sadness and hardships they have faced.

I am running this campaign in support of a wonderful woman who always puts others first but is now in need of help herself.
We all face obstacles and hardship, but some unfortunately experience this more than others and though this is by no means so desperate a situation as those without food or water, I feel this woman deserves a helping hand.

Having suffered the sudden loss of a partner due to anothers recklessness on the roads, a devastating blow to her and their children, she bore the brunt of family pettiness over possessions and money, while having to front legal bills in order to see some sort of justice served.

These legal fees really added up, and though some help did come through as a result, it hasn't gone far as not too long after she received more bad news as she was laid off.

She now faces every day as a challenge with a brave, stress-filled smile, through the doubts and fears of supporting her 2 kids, her home and now ill, elderly parents.

Even day to day problems like car troubles or property damage due to bad weather are bigger dents to the budget than normal.

During her attempts to get back into work and back steadily on her feet, I will be running this campaign and also taking part in sponsored events in her aid and it really is true that every little helps! Please donate as much as you feel you can, it is all so very much appreciated.
