Healthy Homeless project

I am trying to raise money for a project based in Notitnghamshire which enables homeless people to have access to food/water and healthcare.  The money raised will be used to continue with a project that is currently running out of funding. The project involved arranging a meeting place (usually a church that has allowed the use of their facilities for free) where homeless people can come and get a free drink of coffee or tea, and some cereal, toast or soup.

Also on cold days they are able to have a pair of gloves/socks/hat. There are nurses from the NHS to provide healthcare and advice if the homeless people should wish to seek any help or advice. There is also an opportunity a needle exchange that they can utilise if they so wish. The project had been running for many years up until last year when a well known homeless chairty felt the need to cut the funding for this project just before Christmas. So to ensure it would run over Christmas myself and a group of friends put our own money in to ensure it would run over Christmas.  

Usually between 15-20 people utilise this project each week, and we would like to be able to continue to ensure that homeless people have access to food and healthcare through this project.

The money raised is purely to cover the cost of the cereals/soups/coffees and tea and socks/gloves/hats.  One thousand pounds would keep this project running for one year and ensure homeless people will have a place to visit for food/drink and healthcare.  The venue is a church which have kindly allowed this project to use it for free, the nurses are paid by NHS, and so the money raised goes on purely the food and drinks and items of clothing. Receipts can be viewed upon request if we raise enough money to keep it going.
