Life never ceases to challenge and teach us how much we are capable of, and how much we can open ourselves to others, through interactions and through contributing to others well being.
I feel so grateful to be in New Zealand and pursuing this dream, regardless of circumstances that led me here. With encouragement of those around me I have been able to start a small studio out of which I teach people ways to reduce pain and prevent injury, how to improve their physical and emotional well being through movement. Just having a renewed sense of balance, breathing better, unlocking stiffness in the body, helps to uplift many who have been discouraged when other methods have failed.
Sumner New Zealand is a very special community which I am grateful to be part of and where I have established myself and hope to be able to continue this work. Unfortunately change is happening a bit ahead of schedule and the space I am currently in will no longer be available. There are limited spaces available in the community and the only other option at this time is twice the cost. People have just started to learn I am here and that I am here to contribute to the overall community and offer a service that so many benefit from. If I could do this on my own I would, but what I have learned over the years is sometimes you just need to ask for help. I have found a place and a purpose here and with a little help I will be able to continue helping more people. Doesn't matter how much, every donation or wish of luck is appreciated.
Funds raised will be used for the set up of the new studio to offset the additional cost of the larger space. The intention is to continue to build awareness and programs to educate more people on how to manage pain in the body, approaching health from a place more natural and holistic rather than those within the mainstream medical modalities of pills, surgeries and corticosteroids. I continue to study the power we hold within ourselves to heal and hope to continue empowering others to take back their health. Movement is Medicine. Consistency is Key. All encouragement in this endeavour is appreciated.
