Our mother has been diagnosed with bronchiectasis. It is a condition where the airways leading to the lungs are wider, making her more vulnerable to bacterial infection and pneumonia than usual. She was confined in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 (4 times, excluding 1 ER treatment), 2019, and this year, she’s stayed in the intensive care unit the longest because of acute airway obstruction.
The family is appealing to kind hearts in the world to sustain her hospital bills and follow up check up’s, as her medical oxygen requirement has been 24/7 for life, and for almost 10 years, the family’s budget for her maintenance medicines and confinements have reached a critical point, thus this movement.
Our mother is a strong willed woman after more than 3 times of intubation, and she deserves all the effort we can exhaust for her to live a normal life and experience sufficient care even in the face of such condition. With the Lord’s intervention, family support, and generous hearts around the globe, we are steadfast in this intention of campaigning for her extended life, and hopeful in an assurance that we will never cease keeping the faith, as she has never given up on hers.
