Healing Hands for Haiti Las Vegas Team

We are a group of physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, Occupational therapists and CNA's who are planning a trip to Haiti with the non-profit organization Healing Hands for Haiti. Our mission is to provide patient care, community education, and healthcare provider education for the people of Haiti. Haiti is one of the most underdeveloped countries in the western hemisphere with 80% of its working population making $1 US per day. 800,000 children and adults live with disabilities in Haiti, and the level of training that the people taking care of these individuals is minimal. Our team is focused on providing quality care and education for these individuals. We will also be taking much needed supplies to the people of Haiti including the numerous children living in orphanages. The funds we are raising will help us with the costs of traveling to Haiti and our accommodations, security officers, translators and transportation while in Haiti, as well providing funding for necessary equipment and supplies that we will take with us to give to the people of Haiti.
