Campaign Story
On 2004, March, Masud was suffering from typhoid. After 2 weeks, we recovered from that but his hearing capacity start decreasing. After 10-12 days, his hearing ability went to zero.
Then his parents started diagnosis. After some tests, doctors ensure that for typhoid, he got bilateral profound hearing loss. The reason guessed by doctors, wrong treatment during typhoid. Need Cochlear Implant surgery in ears.
It's the one of the expensive surgery. The ability of his family is too short. Already 13 years passed without any treatment. In the mean time, Masud completed his graduation with this hearing problem.
Recently, his family starting his treatment again. After MRI and ASSR, the medical board has given an estimate of $15000. It's a huge big amount for this family.
