“Asking for donations to SAVE our “Daddy’s” HEART”

A loving husband, responsible father, kind brother, and a true friend. Despite of all these good traits, he has an "unhealthy" Heart.

My husband, Regene Dairo, was diagnosed with a severe rheumatic heart disease and needs an immediate surgery(Aortic Valve Replacement) due to Tricuspid regurgitation. This is a disorder in which his Aortic valve does not close tight enough. Pressure rises in his right ventricle due to blood flowing backward into the right atrium and less blood flowing forward through the right ventricle and into the lungs. His right ventricle can expand and weaken over time, leading to a heart failure.

Based on his recent 2D-echo on September 2018, his left ventricle now measures 7.5 cm which is only 5.6 cm in normal size causing high blood pressure, shortness of breath and frequent lack of sleep. We were advised by our cardiologist to perform the surgery as soon as possible to prevent stroke or cardiac arrest.

We were trying to seek help from our local heart center, but it is almost 12 years and still no schedule for operation. We are losing hope so we have decided to proceed with a private surgery.

We badly need help of financial support for his immediate operation that costs 700,000 in Philippine Peso.

We are asking for your kind heart to donate any amount so we can raise enough funds for my husband's operation for him to have a quality life.
