HEAL THE CHILDREN

My name is Simmy, I have just finished a teacher training course in music. I will be travelling to Cambodia  in Asia to give a piece of my heart, to children who have been unfortunate. A high percentage of children were born into world of poverty or have been abandoned. Cambodia has the highest rate of child abandonment in South East Asia. Most of the orphanages are overcrowded, which means many children are forced to sleep on the streets in the citys dumps. This leaves them vunverable to child predators, and child sex tourists who often visit the country. In 2012 after all these years of allowing sex offenders to enter the coutry. The goverment stepped up and announced it would not give visa's to sex offenders who were normally allowed acces into the county.  Cambodia is a haven for paedophiles, and they take advantage of children, paying them $2 a night to perform all kinds of sexual acts, some of these children are as young as 7. Allot of these children turn to prositutes at a very young age, posioned by these sex preditors. The country has around 50,000 prositutes many of them are juveniles. Allot of children who are put up for for adoption have been abandoned by mothers living in grinding rural poverty and many facing domestic violence daily. Cambodia has a high adoption turnover with the top countries officials pocketing the money, the effect of that means the childens welfare is void. children are sold from as little as $100 to $1500. Corruption and bribery is often the case to speed up many of the adpotion applications.  I find this really sad and quite shocking, that children as young as 7 have been molested and abused for decades and it still continues. Only up until 2012 the goverment brought new visa laws against sex offenders. That is something I can not fully get my head around. I can not change the country in the 6 weeks I will be out there. But I know this will be challenging and also heartbreaking experience for me.  My aim is to make as many children smile and laugh every single day while I am out there. I will also bring along my quirky and funny side to lighten up their faces everyday. I am not being paid to teach them or paid to fly out there I just wanted to give back. I have paid for my visas place to stay and also contribution fee to help towards the orphan. But I really want to help them some more Which is why I am asking for your help to raise money for the orphan when I go to Asia. I want to help as much as I much as I can but can not do this alone. I wish I could make thousands for them but I understand the world is getting harder and harder and the poor people simply have not got allot of money. But any donation will be much apreciated. I also want to buy gifts with the money I raise for the children at the orphanage. I remember as a child when ever I was given a toy or a gift. The feelings I felt were of joy and happiness even if I was upset. Being a child should be the best times of your life, not the worse times. So with some great dolls and action men I am sure they will let their imagination run wild. I will also document my jorney on my social media platforms, so you can see my journey from start to end. I will also present the orphan with all the money I make, you will also be able to see how much money I have raised by coming back to this site. Even if I make £300 that is still an acheivement. Ideally I would love to make more, but anything is better than nothing. I am thankful for any donation that you make which. By donating even a small amount would help pay for more beds at the orphan. Meaning more children will be safe and less children sleeping the streets, clothes, shoes, school books, and allot more. I will also give you an insight on to how these children live. I will keep the donation active until the day before I leave the country which is the least I can do and hopefully make them have a really enjoyable time and make them smile from ear to ear with QueenSimmy by there side for a few weeks.
