Short Summary

We observe the problem of un-healthy nutrition in Gaza-strip, as 97% pollution of domestic water tank as UN agencies announced, in addition to the mass usage of chemicals in planting, and the poultry fattening by growth stimulants.

We decided to take an action by establish a mini manufacturer that will produce food industries like (Sausage, Smoked fish, Side-salads, Tahini), in a 100% organic, high-quality and competitive prices with natural preservatives instead of any chemical alternatives in order to present a model to the Gazan production community, you can do it if we succeeded.
We create a chain, starting from purchase from a special farm which we are sure that its products is organic, where it's provide us with vegetables and poultries, the second part in the chain is the usage of mineral water in the production process, finally, we take all the needed producers according to the ministry of health standards.

Not forgetting the profit for sure, but when we use these factors in marketing the products itself, this will raise awareness about that serious problem and will convince all parties that healthy alternative is possible, This will open a gate forward enhancing the level of food production in Gaza, we believe in that.
Our manufacturer/factory name is HAYA means (life) in Arabic as we believe that healthy life starts from natural foods.
Boosting this project will enhance the standards of food industries in addition to bring a role model to others, where taking an action could make a real change.

What We Need & What You Get

We actually spent 22k USD till now after 7 months, and we make a small accepted penetration in the market, but due to the raise in price comparing to other competitors (about 25-35%) it's hard to proof point of view in the Gazans community, which is that we can produce a high-quality products with the same prices of others.
We define this raise for the following reasons:
- We still depend on an external disruption contractor where he got about 20% of the price.
- The raise of operating expenses due to electricity shortage make it more profitable if we increase production amount every day rather that increase the price.

So we found that if we become able to get our own disruption car and provide some additional tools, this will help in decrease the total consumer price.
We need 17k USD to get the following
- Good manner, second-hand disruption car for 8K - 10K USD

- Two vacuum machine for 2.8K USD
- one extra packaging machine for plastic cans for 0.8 K USD
- Solar System to cover the shortage of electricity 3.5K USD
- Huge marketing campaign 1.5K USD

We aim to diversification the products in next phases, we have the ability to produce now 11 distinct products totally healthy and free of chemicals and we have another 4 products to be produced which are:
Hummus, Mushrooms recipes, Juices (Multiple flavors) ,Sugar-free pudding

The Impact

Our manufacturer will be able to competes and make a huge penetration in the market if take in consideration the economics condition in Gaza that create a new culture of looking for the lowest price.
we will concentrate on changing the mindset as much as we can...Good life is more important

Risks & Challenges

As we clarified later, lowest prices of competitors is the main challenge, where if we can reduce the difference between both prices, we could achieve our targets.

Finally, we have a huge motivation and passion and we have huge hopes on this campaign, support this project even with share.

Regards
