Mama Patricia Villagracia, 78, was diagnosed recently with Pericardial Effusion. It all started with Kidney stones that led to Kidney failure which required her to undergo Dialysis 3x a week which she hasn’t even started yet. Mama Pat also developed severe anemia.

As time went by with no proper treatment due to limited resources, the water that couldn’t be flush out by her kidneys went to her heart that might enter her lungs which is fatal according to her physician.

Mama Pat needs to do Dialysis and a procedure called Pericardial Tap, it sucks the fluid from her pericardium, the sac around her heart very soon to save her life. This sole procedure mainly costs a maximum amount of whopping Php 500,000 in Philippines. Her Dialysis weekly is still not covered.
