We hoped for two shelters for refugees in the Calais Jungle but due to the enormous generosity of Hastings and St Leonard we already have enough for five!

Winter is coming, 3000 refugees in Calais need our helps so keep the donations coming in. Nearly 400 tents are needed to house everyone.

These 8 person shelters;
• Are a priority for the Calais aid agencies,
• Are designed by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees,
• Last 5 years and can survive 130mph storms,
• Come with a stove for cooking and heat,
• Will help keep people and their possessions warm and dry.

We are working with groups from across Europe to raise funds for these shelters. Together we can buy them at a cheaper price. In the last month enough money has been raised for more than 30 tents.

The tents will be printed with a message of support from Hastings and St Leonards.
