A ten minute comedy drama exploring childhood and the importance of family bonds over romantic idols. This is our final year graduation film at Royal Holloway, University of London.

9 year old Henry is livid when his older brother, Harvey forces him to meet his girlfriend, Zoe for the weekend. Disgusted by the manipulative Zoe and rebellious to a fault, Henry is desperate to make Harvey see the light. But who listens to 9 year olds? When all seems lost, Henry develops a deep crush on Zoe’s devious younger sister, Juliet. Can the creative souls of Henry and Juliet bring down their siblings relationship? Can Henry win Juliet’s heart and save his brother? What does Harvey see in Zoe? Underneath the hilarious surface lies the pain of family issues.

Part relationship comedy, part caper story, part intimate family drama, this enjoyable short film aims to capture the absurd realities and relationships between siblings.

We are looking to raise money in order to boost our production values and really deliver the quirky story that the script deserves. Your money will be put towards props, costumes, travel, and general expenses. Any form of donation and/or sharing of our page is hugely appreciated. Thank you!

The film will enter the festival circuit following its completion in Summer 2015. My 2nd year University film, Magic Touch, was selected by the BFI to premiere at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square in November 2014. I was awarded ‘Young Filmmaker of the Year’ Award in 2013 by the human trafficking charity, Unchosen for my short film and it toured the UK to educate people on the realities of slavery. This film explored the creativity and innocence of childhood within a hostile world. I am very confident that Harvey and Henry will be another great film to showcase my directorial abilities and ultimately move and inspire the public.
