My children Oliver and Harry were born on 30th June 2005 at 32 weeks by emergency c section. My pregnancy had been a relatively easy one and I had adored every minute. Routine scans had shown that I was carrying two healthy babies. When they were born so prematurely, they were whisked away to the special care baby unit as we had expected. What happened next was so far from our expectations. Oliver was a healthy baby but Harry was born with Golden Har syndrome, leaving him with one eye, ear and nostril. During Harry's 7 years he has had to endure three operations to help shape his face and create an eye socket. He will also continue to need operations in the future. Harry also has Autism which adds to the challenges but he is a special boy who adores music or anything that makes a noise! I want to create an safe environment for Harry that will stimulate and develop his musical ability. Your donations will help make this possible by allowing me to purchase equipment for his room and our garden, creating a sensory area. Thank you.
