I will be heading to Portoviejo, Ecuador June 8-16, 2018 for a summer course/medical mission trip with Samford University and E3 Partners. Portoviejo is the capital of the Manabi province of Ecuador and is 20 miles from the Pacific coast. The city of 250,000 is know for agriculture, fishing and coffee production. A large 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the area in April 2016 leaving a large amount of devastation.
The people of Portoviejo remain in great need two years later after this disastrous earthquake. Victims of such tragic occurrences need to tell their story. Our responsibility is to go and be good listeners as we come along side the people of Portoviejo. Our team will be providing free medical support through a general clinic, eye clinic, dental clinic, pharmacy and community education at five different villages.
The Bible says that when we do this unto the least of these we do it unto HIM. The people of Portoviejo are struggling to survive. Won't you join me as I serve the precious people of Portoviejo and share with them the good news of Jesus Christ? Together we can participate in the Great Commission to GO and TELL!
I am truly blessed by any type of support you feel led to offer, be it financial or prayer -
Looking forward to serving,
