HARMONY MARKET FEST #COLOUR_RUN

Harmony Market Fest is aimed at promoting talented and upcoming artists from South Africa and international upcoming artists who wish to pursue and expose their passion whether in music, food, art and lifestyle. HMF is aimed at providing a platform that allows talented artists to gain exposure by marketing themselves during the event and interacting with potential investors who might be interested in possible business ventures.

Therefore Dipete Youth Empowerment Organization program is aimed at incubating, rehabilitating and educating the youth of South Africa with the use of psychological, physical, emotional, social and economic empowerment. In addition, DYE Org. is also aimed at decreasing the use of drugs amongst the youth population, by encouraging youth to spend most of their free time exploring capabilities, building positive coping mechanisms, developing resilience (ability to withstand challenges) and find purpose in one’s life as a youth citizen.

For example, if one wants to pursue their passion in food, one would have to register with HMF in advance in order to book a stall to sell their desired food or cuisines. Therefore, this allows one to show cast his/her talent in a large sum of audiences and potential customers, clients, etc.

HMF is also aim at helping in the community in the following areas by:

 Creating jobs for local residents.

 Provide a stage for local artists to showcase their talent alongside established artists.

 Boost and encourage local tourism in the area by attracting visitors throughout the country.

 Push revenue into the local community and create a networking platform for businesses.

 Bring the community together in one place to raise awareness for a good cause.

 Help promote good health with the 5km colour run.

 Create awareness for drug abuse among the youth of Pretoria and nationwide.

 Create a platform for businesses to exercise good Corporate Social Responsibilities in our community.

EVENT OBJECTIVES

 Most importantly the Harmony Market Fest is aimed at encouraging a healthy lifestyle for all members of the Akasia community young & old.

We look forward to growing the Harmony Market Fest into one of the best market festivals in the Northern parts of Pretoria and to raise awareness for the DYE org. anti-drug campaign. To reach this goal, we need assistance from the business community.
