Harley’s World

Harley was born 6 weeks premature and suffered with issues since birth he had a lung collapse and then went on to have bad jaundice he finally came home aged 11 days but since coming home he had nothing but problems.
One of the first things we noticed was his breathing, he would sometimes having choking episodes while sleeping which stopped him breathing and he would have blue moment, we spent a lot of time back and forth with hospitals and doctors to finally find out he had obstructed sleep apnoe as he got older we then realised he wasnt developing like other children and by 8 months he still wasnt sitting, or rolling over.
Harley has had loads of therapy sessions but still he remains unable to stand / walk / roll or crawl. Harley has obstructed sleep apnoea, plagiocephaly, development delay, motor skill delay, severe learning difficulties and very low muscle tone!
As he gets older we are going to be needing more specialist equipment for him and our lovely friend wanted to help and suggested setting up this page to help him and we thank her so much..... we are unsure at the moment when Harley will walk or stand but we are working on it with plenty of physiotherapy and occupational therapy he is the most sweetest and happiest baby i have ever known!
