Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are an independent volunteers from Hargeisa Somaliland currently residing in Turkey. We have started this campaign with non profit charities in Istanbul and half of the funds is secured. We are campaigning to build a rehabilitation school for street Children in Hargeisa Somaliland. Could you please donate what ever you can and give these hopeless children the future that they deserve.

Story Background:

Hargeisa Somaliland, is a home to hundreds of street children who have been victims of one of the worst droughts and poverty in the region in recent years. These street and homeless children have nowhere to go and often suffer from diseases such as Tuberculosis. These children seek shelter from the dilapidated building where they sleep. A smell of mud spreads through the blurred hole in the wall of the building where these children enter and exit. There is no future for these kids. Please help us build a Rehabilitation School where we give them a chance to study and provide the better life that they deserve. Our goal is to provide a basic skills and short term rehabilitation. Conflict, drought and economic hardships have led to an unprecedented increase in the number of street children in Hargeisa Somaliland, and government and aid agencies have urged crucial steps to prevent this increase. Many of these children flee from their families because of poverty, drought, lack of education and they are living in the streets using drugs such as sniffing glue. We aim to rehabilitate them and send them to their families, so we need your help, please donate what you can today.
