Hardware for software science student

Hello, my name is David Woobly and I'm a freshman of Technical University in Belgrade. I'm currently working on 7 years old laptop which is too slow (and I constantly hold it on laptop cooler because of overheating). I'm asking you, good people to help me fundraising a 1000 €, so I can buy a proper hardware for my school and some day be an expert in computer science. Thanks in advance!
