Happy Valley Organic is a family-operated farm , we are committed to farming products that are natural, organic and truly Kenyan. Our main aim is sustained organic livestock farming specifically goats and free range birds.

WHAT WE DO

Our intention is to create a sustainable , profitable way of livestock farming aimed at the general retail market. We aim to produce unique/ value added product such as Goat milk soap, Goat Yogurt/Sour Cream/Ghee and processed milk. Our chosen breed for goats are the Saanen and Galla varieties.

Our Chicken farm is up and running currently with 50 chicks in brood and hoping to grow this number to 400 in 3 months. We intend to kick of the goat farm with 10 doe and 2 bucks and grow this number to 40 by the end of the year.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Farming worldwide has become way too intensive… and we reckon too many animals being farmed these days have sad, sad lives. We want to change that.
It’s not always the farmers fault… it’s really ours as the people who buy the food.
We can change how animals are farmed by asking the ‘hard questions’ and then only buying food we feel right about. Having previously worked in retail, We liked the idea of going to a supermarket and being able to trace the bacon in the pack right back to the exact farm the pork came from. So we decided to make it happen. This is important because as consumers we can then be sure exactly how the piggy has been farmed.

Your Donations enable us to create a sustainable model that not only creates employment but adds value to our lives by eliminating many of the antibiotics and synthetic additives that trickle down into our plates.

We are happy to hear from you with any feedback, queries or comments on our Social channels.
