Happy the Cocker Spaniel

Today on March 28, 2014 while I was sound asleep my grandma let out my dog Happy to do his business as usual. Unfortunately she forgot to lock the door and coincidently our garage door was left open wide as well. I was told by morning joggers than he was around the neighboorhood peeing, and on his way back Happy was hit. I was woken up by my grandma to look for him and found him in the truck of the SPCA general. They took him to the SPCA hospital and he will be treated there. I'm only 18 years old and I was just lucky enough that I didn't have to give him up for adoption. My parents came to an agreement to pay monthly but coming from a household of 9 people we will need some help with his hospital fees. He is currently staying a couple of days at the hospital for further exams and treatments before I can get him back.
